DWEEZIL
Dweezil ran The Wick. He was Head of Security for our sponsor and Head of The Wick too. No dog entered The Wick without Dweezil's say so.

Turned up at The Wick with your two Huskies and didn't see Dweezil did you? Popped in with your Mastiff without Dweezil allowing it? Your Whippet (Vinnie) regularly visited and never saw Dweezil did he?
He was watching. Dweezil knew. Dweezil permissioned.
He's gone now. The lovely Village Vets saw him off earlier this year (2023) He was in his fourteenth year. A good age for a big boy.
The Wick is anyone's these days. It's up for grabs. For some 10+ years though, The Wick was Dweezil's.
Want to argue with him about that do you? You can't, he's gone.
Dweezil was indeed very much a Wick dog.

What's this about a prize? You said there was a prize!
Yes there's a prize. Our sponsor this year is Ten Year Tags. How a dog name tag business can afford the extortiante rates we require, I have no idea. However, it is a premium dog ID tag business, based right here in St Albans.
What is the Prize?
Good question. It's a dog name tag, made by hand in St Albans with vintage, restored machinery and - wait for it - it's a dog ID tag that's guaranteed for ten years... EVEN IF YOU LOSE IT!
How do I win?
We've no idea. How do you want to win? Send us a photo of your dog AT THE WICK. That would be a good start. Photos of dogs NOT at The Wick will be rejected and destroyed. The photos that is, not the dogs, just to be clear.
